4 injured after 2-car collision leaves 1 vehicle wrapped around pole in Northeast D.C.

WASHINGTON (ABC7) —

Four people were injured after a two-car collision left one of the vehicles wrapped around a pole Tuesday afternoon in Northeast Washington.

All four victims were taken to an area hospital, and officials say one of them is listed in critical condition.

The accident occurred near Rhode Island Avenue and South Dakota Avenue.

Roads on South Dakota Avenue, NE between Bladensburg and Rhode Island Avenue were closed earlier due to the accident.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
